A Star of David leaking a bloody tear onto some Hebrew letters. Hmmm. I wonder what the word means? It must be “remember” or “never forget” or “feel sorry for us” or something like that. Not sure.  If anyone knows, please leave the answer in the comments. I do know, though, that I got this at Congregation B’nai Israel shortly after (or during) the Yom Kippur war in 1973 to show support for Israel. The war didn’t last too long and even though I have internalized anti-semitism, I have to say that Israel was always kind of badass, but I guess it helped to have the support of a superpower. And just think, I felt more of a connection to my peeps when I was 13 than I do at 51. Go figure.
